Some dogs are determined to steal the limelight.

It all went down during a Russian television broadcast. An unsuspecting news anchor named Ilona Linarte sleepily rattled off the evening news like any other night, until a loud bark nearly sent her flying from her seat. It was almost too good to be true in that moment… but a floppy eared puppy dog had snuck his way on set.
“I’ve got a dog here. What is this dog doing in the studio?” She says in Russian.

Clearly startled, the news anchor tried as best she could to continue on with her monologue while the cheeky pooch did everything in his power to steal the show… and he did a fantastic job.
Then she admits, “I actually prefer cats. I’m a cat lady.”
The station later released that the dog was part of a later segment and had escaped on set.
He may not have convinced her to let him be a co-anchor but he did get a friendly pat. Check out the candid hilarity in the video below!
