Zerick and Petroula DeCrans of Forest Lake, Minnesota, love sharing everything with their dad, from new haircuts to stories about school. So when Major Peter DeCrans was deployed to Kuwait in 2018, they found the cutest way to connect from afar.
After DeCrans headed out, his wife Cierra installed a Ring doorbell camera so the Army dad could check up on things at home. It quickly turned into a lifeline between him and his kids, who used it to fill him in on everything – and to remind him just how much they love him!
