Their Infant Daughter Had Just Passed, But This Act Of Kindness Restored Their Hope In The Future

Baby Glory and the note from Kayla

Shawn and Debbie Riddle have a favorite breakfast spot in Ft. Worth, Texas that they used to frequent with their infant daughter Glory.

When the Riddles stopped in a few weeks ago without their little one, their waitress, Kayla, noticed right away. She asked the couple what was going on. One look told her something was terribly wrong.

Glory Riddle had passed away unexpectedly after just a few short weeks on this earth.

Kayla remembered Glory as “such a beautiful baby,” and was speechless after hearing about her unexplained passing. She sat with the Riddles and they showed her pictures of Glory and reminisced on their short time with her.

When the Riddles got their check at the end of their meal, they were shocked to find it had been paid for in full. Kayla left them a sweet note and let them know how Glory had impacted her life.

Kayla’s small gesture of kindness reminded the couple that their daughters life, while short, was capable of impacting lives and changing hearts.

Debbie Riddle put the story on Facebook and thousands shared and commented, offering support and encouragement. They all mirrored Kayla’s sentiment, that Glory’s life had in some way changed theirs.
