Couple Loses Whopping 300 Lbs In 1 Year After Friends Don’t Recognize Them.

Eli and Kelly Wenninger were in desperate need of a change. Despite each living a healthy lifestyle growing up, they found eventually themselves consuming nothing but fast food.

Combined with a sedentary lifestyle, the unwanted weight gain was inevitable. Their two young kids were able to wear them out, and they couldn’t get off the couch without stumbling. After a long hard look at themselves, the couple decided to kick their bad habits and their transformation is spectacular!

When they married, Eli and Kelly were both at a healthy weight.

But, after years without self-discipline or self-control when it came to eating habits and exercise, they hit their tipping points. For Eli it came when he saw a photo of himself at his heaviest, well over 400 pounds. “I saw that and I was like oh man that’s not the person I want to be, that’s not who I want to be anymore.”

For Kelly, it came when she realized that people didn’t recognize her because of her weight. “That was really hard,” she said.

Agreeing they needed to make a change, the Oklahoma couple hatched a weight loss plan. They ate clean for a month, cutting out anything processed, and did simple exercises.

They were so out of shape at first that doing just three pushups was an impressive feat. But as time passed, they saw results!

It took just one year for Eli to lose 250 pounds, while Kelly dropped 65. While their friends definitely took note, their kids saw big changes. “Now I wear them out instead of them wearing me out, they’re like ‘Dad we need a break!'” Eli said.

Along the way, the couple started a Facebook group to better promote their healthy eating philosophy. They look so much happier and healthier and hope to inspire others to make a positive change, too.
