No One Shows Up To Boy’s Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Party, Manager Hears & Plans Sweet Do-Over.

All a parent wants to do is protect their kid from anything that may be sad or hurtful. For a parent, there is never a good time for their baby to learn about hurt feelings and disappointment.

Angel Kazanis definitely wasn’t ready for the moment her four-year-old son, Evan, learned that lesson … at his own birthday party.

Kazanis had sent out 30+ invites for Evan’s fourth birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. She rented out space and had the celebration set up, only to quickly realize that no one was coming to the party. Evan realized it too. Kazanis told Inside Edition, “He was looking at the door. You could see the disappointment in his face.”

Evan’s pain did not go unnoticed by the staff at Chuck E. Cheese, who all stood by heartbroken for the little boy. Manager Taylor Inzinna excused herself to the play place’s kitchen, so that Evan wouldn’t see her cry.

Inzinna decided there was no way she was going to let Evan’s fourth birthday be a memory of sadness. She told the story on Facebook and expressed her desire to make things better for Evan, and within days she had dozens of presents from her friends and family ready for Evan. Inzinna worked together with her fellow Chuck E. Cheese employees to throw Evan a second party which every single one of them would attend.

Inzinna then reached out to Kazanis who agreed to bring Evan back.

The second party was a hit, with Chuck E. Cheese himself bringing a pile of presents to Evan.

Kazanis told Inside Edition, “I was shocked. I had to keep myself from crying. They made him feel like a million dollars, like he was the most important kid in the whole world.” Which, to his mom, he is.

She went on to say, “He is not going to forget [this]. He remembers everyone and everything.”

Inzinna was just as happy to see Evan have such a wonderful birthday. She said that “the smile on his face was everything I wanted. He left that day going ‘This is the best day ever!'”

Despite the praise Inzinna is getting from this viral story, she is firm in that her only motive was to see Evan smile.
