7-Yr-Old Sends “Google Boss” Job Application, But CEO Responds With Priceless Letter.

Chloe Bridgewater of Hereford, England, is perhaps the most motivated 7-year-old in the world. Chloe asked her dad, Alex, where his ideal place to work would be. After thinking for a moment, Alex mentioned GOOGLE, citing their world famous perks, abundance of beanbag chairs and cutting edge work. Chloe’s dad didn’t have to say much for the idea of working at Google to steal her heart.

Determined to score a job there, Chloe started working on a letter to send to Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai. The little one expertly lists her qualifications and gives quite the argument for a kindergartener.

“Dear google boss,

My name is Chloe and when I am bigger I would like a job with google. I also want to work in a chocolate factory and do swimming in the olympics. I go swimming on Saturday and on Tuesday. My dad said I can sit on bean bags and go down slides and ride go karts in a job in google…”

The 7-yr-old then went on to describe her love for robots, computers and video games. She was sure to let Pichai know that she does well in school, so when the times comes, she’ll be a perfect fit for the company.

You can imagine her surprise when she got a response back from the Google CEO. The big hearted boss wrote a letter to encourage her to chase her dreams.

Dear Chloe,

Thank you so much for your letter. I’m glad that you like computers and robots, and hope that you will continue to learn about technology. I think if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to – from working at Google to swimming in the Olympics. I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school! (:

All the best to your and your family,

Sincerely,
Sundar Pichai

It’s pretty awesome to see one of the top executives in the world take the time to write a 7-year-old and encourage her to chase her dreams. We should all take the time to encourage those around us.
