Open the eyes of people everywhere to the tragedy of abandoned stray animals

There are over 70 million stray animals in the United States. Whether from abandonment, abuse, or loss, the problem continues to persist… and these animals end up living a short and sad life.
The World Animal Awareness Society is an award winning, non-profit media organization that produces filmed programs about human-animal interaction by documenting rescue attempts and success stories alike. It’s founder, filmmaker Tom Mcphee, first discovered his passion for raising animal awareness in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. When Tom arrived in the lower ninth ward to document animal rescue attempts in post-Katrina New Orleans, he was blown away by the incredible need to raise awareness for stray animal rescue.
That is why the World Animal Awareness Society was created: to raise awareness for helpless and abandoned animals everywhere through powerful media-driven storytelling.
It’s a noble cause that deserves everyone’s respect, so help us raise awareness and support for stray animals everywhere. All you have to do is watch and share InspireMore stories. The more you do that, the more advertisers pay us, and the more we are able to give to this important cause! Get started today; let’s make a difference.
