“We pass out food, clothing, blankets, and anything required by the homeless. We will help the best we can, believing in and aiding those in need.” – Robbie Eimers

Homeless relief efforts in Detroit, MI have been sedated for some time. Of the 20,00o people on the streets, there are only enough shelter beds for 1,900. Even the basic necessities of life are hard to come by in the concrete jungle – most people barely scrape by.
Instead of ignoring this growing crisis, 12-year-old Robby Eimers and his sister Emma decided to do something about it. Spending their own allowance on sandwiches and clothing, Robbie and Emma would head downtown every Saturday to feed and clothe their homeless friends.
That is why The Eimers Foundation was created: to feed and clothe the homeless of Detroit so that they can feel loved and provided for.
It is a noble cause that deserves everyone’s respect! So help us give basic necessities to the homeless in Detroit. All you have to do is watch and share InspireMore stories. The more you do that, the more advertisers pay us, and the more we are able to give to this important cause! Get started today; let’s make a difference.
