Man Converts Crawl Space Into Tiny Bedroom For His Rescue Cat And We’re Obsessed.

A few months ago, Bryan Davies and his family adopted a black and white tuxedo cat named Wyatt.

The rescue instantly won their hearts, and Bryan and Wyatt are already best friends. That’s why Bryan went out of his way to make Wyatt feel especially at home, even giving him his own tablet so he can watch bird videos on YouTube.

Wyatt loves sitting on a windowsill to watch the birds outside, but during the winter months, there wasn’t much wildlife to keep him occupied. The tablet helped, and Bryan was surprised by how much his cat enjoyed seeing the recorded birds on the screen.

Seeing Wyatt with his little tablet gave the cat dad an idea. He was in the process of remodeling parts of his tiny home, so when he found a small, unused crawl space behind a wall in his bedroom, he thought it would make the perfect TV room for Wyatt!

“It was the perfect spot for an even tinier bedroom in our tiny bedroom in our tiny home,” Bryan said. “So I opened the wall and started remodeling.”

The resulting space is so cute! Bryan furnished it with a little cat bed, toys, a throw rug, and even itty-bitty feline portraits. Last but not least, Wyatt’s very own flat-screen TV was mounted on the wall for all his bird-watching needs.

Incredibly, Wyatt seems to know the room is just for him! He spends plenty of time in there, much to Bryan’s delight. “He loves it,” Bryan said.

“He spends a lot of time in there, asking to watch his show before taking a nap,” he added. “He zones out to the screen like a normal teen. And he naps – hard. He really does enjoy it as much as a kid who finally got his own room.”

This rescue cat really hit the jackpot with his new family! Bryan’s creation is so extra it’s putting the rest of us cat parents to shame.
