“Traffic Cop” Walks Up To Discarded Piano & Jams Out Incredible Boogie Woogie Tune.

When a traffic control officer saw a piano discarded at the side of a sidewalk in London, he couldn't help but play a little boogie woogie.

We ran a story not too long ago about a professional pianist who sits down and entertains crowds at random spots in and around London. The mastermind behind these musical interludes is one Brendan Kavanagh, aka Dr. K. And he was at it again in mid-December.

He and his crew happened upon a roughly century-old piano that someone apparently believed looked better sitting curbside instead of, say, in a living room where something like a piano belongs.

Brendan also has a penchant for costumes, occasionally dressing up as a police officer or construction worker while he entertains the masses. So of course he had to change into his traffic warden get-up before playing some tunes on this lonely (and apparently unwanted) piano.

In a follow-up video, he explains:

It’s about 100 years old and made in Berlin. It’s surprisingly okay but it’s a bit out of tune. All the notes are working and I’m going to get it tuned up and see if we can make a few videos with it … It’s a shame when these pianos are abandoned because I’ve seen quite a few of them around London.
