Players Scheme With Steph Curry To Make Teammate With Down Syndrome’s Dream Come True.

The team manager of a women’s university basketball team got the thrill of her life when the players presented her with an extra special Christmas gift. But she won’t be able to cash in on it until sometime next year, so the excitement has that much more time to build!

Rachel Grace has Down Syndrome, but she doesn’t let that get in the way of anything, really. She’s athletic and serves as the manager of the women’s basketball team at Pennsylvania’s East Stroudsburg University.

The team nickname is the Warriors, and everybody knows Rachel’s favorite celebrity is none other than Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry. So they knew what they had to get her: socks with his face etched on them and a lanyard.

Just kidding. There was one more present down there, but she had to do some digging to find it.

“You gotta read it out loud,”a couple team members say.

“We know all you wanted for Christmas was to meet your idol Steph Curry, so as your favorite Warriors, we wanted to let you know that your dream is about to come true. Steph is planning to fly you out to California to see a game,”she reads with growing excitement. “Steph is very excited to meet you.â€

The surprise gift came not long after the team’s coach, Diane Decker, got the message out about Rachel’s dream meet-and-greet in a December 7 tweet:
