“Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” 4-Yr-Old With Prosthetic Leg Conquers Every Climb.

A 4-year-old with a limb difference is reminding us all that with hard work and determination, anything is possible. Antonella Funghetto was born with a rare congenital disorder that prevented her left leg from developing. She gets around using a prosthetic limb that attaches to her waist with a belt, and she’s exceptionally good at working with what she has!

In a video that has gone viral around the globe, Antonella is attempting to climb up a steep embankment. Her mother Francieli is off camera, encouraging the little girl. Even though she’s speaking Portuguese, Mom’s meaning is clear: “You can do it! Keep going.” Antonella looks back at her mother with doubt in her eyes, but then she puts her head down and powers up the incline with zero help from anyone.

When she reaches the top, Antonella emits the cutest little, “Yay!” and gives her mom a thumbs up. “Você é uma campeã!” Francieli replies, which translates to, “You’re a champion!”

At 4 years old, Antonella is teaching everyone to never give up, no matter what individual hardships you’ve been dealt. Watch her conquer the world in the video below, and be sure to share this important message with your friends.
