Couple Adopts 5 Foster Siblings To Keep Them From Being Separated.

Andi and Thomas Bonura always wanted to have a big family – no matter how their children found their way home.

The Texas couple struggled to conceive for several years. They went through the heartache of failed in vitro cycles, pregnancy loss, and the premature birth of their twin sons.

While Joey was born with cerebral palsy and visual impairment, his brother Eli sadly passed away.

After some time, Andi and Thomas had two daughters named Sadie and Daphne. Since both girls were born prematurely, their parents made the difficult decision not to have any more biological children.

Even with their three precious little ones, Andi and Thomas knew their family wasn’t quite complete. So in 2017, they signed up to become foster parents. Soon, an infant named Bryson arrived to brighten their lives!

They instantly fell in love with little Bryson, so when they learned he had older siblings, Andi and Thomas didn’t hesitate to welcome them.

David and Gabrielle came to live with them first. When their older twin brothers, Thomas and Carter, started visiting, it became clear that the siblings longed to be together in one happy home. “They were sweet and would say, ‘Can we come live with you?'” Andi explained.

One day, they got the call they’d all been waiting for! The kids’ biological parents had agreed to terminate their parental rights. Immediately, Andi and Thomas jumped at the chance to have all five siblings join their forever family!

“These are their brothers and sisters and there’s no argument,” Andi said. “The kids have been through a lot, but they’re the sweetest. They’re amazing – and resilient.”

Because of COVID-19, their official adoption ceremony happened via Zoom call on May 6. Their loved ones showed up to celebrate the newest members of their family by throwing a car parade in front of their home. What a beautiful welcome!

After all this time, Andi said their family feels complete. Congratulations, Bonuras! You were clearly meant to be!
