Alpaca Leads Farm Animals Into Hysterical Slip-And-Slide Down Icy Lane.

Cloven hooves allow sheep, goats and their brethren to navigate some pretty treacherous terrain. But when they’re trying to cross an area without any traction for their hooves to dig into, the results are pretty hilarious.

The video below was filmed in Winchester Springs, Ontario, when temperatures dropped to as low as 3 degrees. Hooves and a slick, icy surface aren’t exactly the best combination.

The exact purpose of this little trek was unclear, but one thing’s for sure: If sheep and goats could sue, the owners of this property would have a whole slew of slip-and-fall lawsuits on their hands.

Lola the alpaca led the charge … but not for long. She slips and slides but manages to stay the course, but the same can’t be said for the couple dozen sheep and goats following her lead.

They start out in single file, but the uniformity quickly dissolves into calamity as they lose their footing and start skidding out of control. The chilly air’s filled with their confused bleats as they slip, slide, and topple their way across the roadway.

“Makes me think of customers at a Black Friday sale,”one viewer quipped.

Next time, the sheepherder might want to lay down some hay to make it a little easier for his charges.
