Martina Desjarlais is deeply in touch with her Native Canadian heritage and is raising her little ones to feel the same sense of pride in their culture. She’s wasted no time teaching them traditional songs and dances, and there’s no denying that her little son, Albert, has really taken to dancing.

When Mom posted a video online recently of the cutie doing his first traditional dance, everyone sort of freaked out at the immense cuteness of it all.

Before we go any further, we have to spend more time on just how cute this tiny nugget is. I mean, look at him. He is clearly star material and he proved that once and for all during a pow-wow in Camrose, Alberta, Canada recently.

Okay, now we can properly begin.

Leading up to Albert’s first pow-wow, his mama had him practice in a closed environment and within seconds, he was movin’ and shakin’ with the best of them. He just observed at first, but after a few minutes he jumped right in.

After he started nailing the moves, it was time to pick out the perfect traditional garb. They settled on this little number which he totally pulls off.

Albert was finally ready to make his debut! Needless to say, everyone just about lost it over how precious he is and how dedicated he was to nailing the routine. He certainly held his own with the adults and was the clear crowd favorite!

It’s so cool to see a mom passing down her love for her culture and keeping these meaningful traditions alive.

Check out Albert’s moves in the video below, and don’t forget to share!
