It’s never easy when a loved one passes away. Even if we feel like we are prepared to say goodbye, the loss undoubtedly breaks our hearts. Suzanne Somers died in October 2023 after a decades-long battle with breast cancer. The Three’s Company alum was 76 when she died, and her widower, Alan Hamel, 88, says he can still feel her presence in their home.
The couple married in 1977, and Alan told Fox News Digital that he’s had some “unusual” experiences in the months since his wife’s passing.
Alan Hamel Believes In The Afterlife
Experiences like these have made Alan Hamel believe that Suzanne Somers is still with him, though he misses her terribly. He said living alone is difficult, as he hasn’t been on his own since he was 18.
“When I go to bed at night, during that time when you’re not asleep yet, that’s when I really feel Suzanne’s presence to the point where it’s palpable,” said Hamel. “I remember one night I was so positive she was in bed with me. I reached over just to check, and of course, she wasn’t there.”
