You may not know anything about Kyrgyzstan, or even how to pronounce it, but after watching the video below, the one thing you will know is that it’s where ADEM Dance Crew got its start.

The contortionist dance troupe quite literally wormed their way onto the national stage after a jaw-dropping audition for “Asia’s Got Talent.” Their two-minute-long performance left the judges, audience members, and online viewers gasping, cringing, and at times, even screaming!

But it wasn’t just the four-member group’s intimidating, futuristic combat regalia – a nod to the video game franchise, Mortal Kombat – that had everyone squirming.

It’s what happened after the techno music kicked in that had everyone wondering how anything they did was even humanly possible.

Just seconds into their routine, the leader morphs into a twisted puppet master, using his hands and arms to guide his underlings’ every move… and bending them into seemingly impossible shapes.

His first “victim,” clad in a black-and-gray outfit, turns his wrist an entire 360 degrees, prompting gasps and cheers from the audience… before doing a full 180 with his torso, walking forward and freezing in place.

Just call him the human pretzel.

Victim two slides into a split, reaches back and grabs his foot. The audience erupts into screams of horror as he repeatedly bangs it against the floor, then grabs both feet and twists around until he’s facing the back of the stage.

And if you didn’t already, you’ll have a truly difficult time wrapping your mind around the finale, when the leader takes control of the final contortionist’s body and makes him do this, bending further and further back until he’s nearly parallel to the floor!
