When four young Texas brothers heard a news report that their 75-year-old neighbor, Gerry Suttle, was issued a warrant for her arrest, they couldn’t believe why. The elderly woman had neglected to trim her grass… and that’s what got her in trouble.

Even though they lived close, the boys had never met Gerry. But they realized that with the hot sun beating down, it wouldn’t be good for a woman of her age to be out in the heat for so long. So, with kind hearts and a giving frame of mind, the boys did something about it.
As Blaine, one of the boys, said, “It’s a summer day, we don’t have season passes yet to Hawaiian Falls. What else could we do but go out and help some people?â€
What an awesome attitude! Instead of spending their time off from school as most kids do – playing around and, let’s face it, doing nothing productive – these four boys truly encompassed the idea of serving your fellow “neighbor.”
