Your mind will run in “what if” circles all day if you let it, but it won’t help you move forward. Focus on loving yourself instead. Nourish your body with good food, treat yourself to flowers, or enjoy nature with a relaxing walk.
3. Obsessing over closure.
Sometimes we don’t get the answers we’re looking for, and that’s OK. Embrace the unknown, then let it go. It may be helpful to consider what this relationship taught you about yourself and how you can use that insight for personal growth.
4. Keep dreaming of your future together.
It can be just as hard to let go of the future you envisioned with your partner as the person themself. Remember that the one constant in your life is you, and you have the power to create a different, joyful future.
5. Denying or trying to change your feelings.
