The saying “nature is calling” took on new meaning when photographer Shane Black and two of his friends decided to quit their jobs of 6 years and hit the road. But, as they shared in their Vimeo post, the risk was completely worth it.
The two adventurers spent two months traveling across the country capturing the sheer beauty of nature and teaching photography works shops along the way. In total, they visited 13 national and state parks, touched tires in 32 states and drove nearly 32,000 miles in their trusty old Dodge Caravan.
Here’s our takeaway: Sometimes we have to leave our comfort zones to see the beauty that surrounds. Heed the adventure when it is calling, it will bring life to your soul!
