20 People Give Their Best Sidewalk “Silly Walk” A La Monty Python

Silliness is more than welcome during this time of crisis.

That’s why Liz Koto and her family decided to turn the sidewalk in front of their Grosse Pointe, Michigan home into a zone for passersby to have a little fun, Monty Python style. The idea came to them during a walk through the neighborhood one day. They remembered “The Ministry of Silly Walks,” a sketch from the comedy troupe’s television show which features – you guessed it – people walking weirdly.

So, they decided to recreate it at home on Yorkshire Road, setting up a sign that reads, “You have now entered the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Silly Walks. Commence silly walking immediately.” Here are 20 of the funniest responses recorded of people walking by.
