Judges Amazed By Mother’s Talent, But It’s Her 2 Yr Old Daughter Who Stole Their Hearts

judges excited when 2 yr old goes on stage

There have been some great auditions on So You Think You Can Dance, but Bree Hafen’s takes the cake!

The lovable 29-year-old mom of 2 tears up when she talks about her decision to try-out for the show. “When you become a mother, you want to just give your whole life to your kids. And when you ever feel like doing something for yourself you have to deal with a little bit of the guilt involved,” she explains. “Getting back into dance was a struggle of ‘Am I worth that time away from my family?'” A struggle many mothers can relate to.

At the audition, the judges immediately fall in love with Bree’s two children, Luke (5 years old) and Stella (2). Nigel Lythgoe calls the two kids up to the judges table and offers them his seat, as their mother begins her routine.

And Bree is absolutely stunning! Even little Luke can’t contain his excitement, shouting “Go, Mama! I love you!” Nigel is so impressed he doesn’t wait until the end of the audition to offer her a ticket to Vegas. He turns to Luke, “If I give you something, will you give it to mommy?” Judge Mary Murphy fights back tears as Luke runs up onstage to offer the coveted ticket to his mom.

But the best is still to come! As Bree embraces Luke and begins to cry, Little Stella, wearing an adorable pink dress, also runs up on stage. “My turn! My turn!” she says, pointing a toe. The judges are laughing now at her adorable antics. Wanting to see the next generation of dancers, Nigel puts on some music, and 2 year old Stella takes over the stage. She’s not a bit nervous as she performs an imitation of her mama’s moves. And it’s adorable!

Watch the beautiful moment unfold, as Mom Bree finds the confidence to follow her dreams and little Stella shows the audience that she’s the next dancing queen in the making!
