NICU Nurses Gently Lay Hands On Preemie Baby, Then Sing Sweetest Message Of Hope Over Her.

little preemie baby

We’ve told you before about nurses caring for newborn babies in exceptional ways. There was the nurse who introduced 2 twin babies to the world in the most tender way, and there was the nurse who knit superhero costumes for preemie babies in NICU. Now two nurses are caring for a preemie baby in the most heartwarming way yet… with a Christmas song.

Sunnybrook Hospital tweeted the video below of two nurses singing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” over a tiny, newborn baby, saying “The spirit of the season is alive in our NICU. Watch as two nurses sing a carol to preemie baby Anya…”

The angelic nurses have the most beautiful voices, and they lay their hands on the baby so tenderly… as if in prayer. If that isn’t enough to bring tears to your eyes, check out the teeny tiny Santa hat on little Anya.

This time of year can be difficult for any family with a child in the hospital; Anya’s parents must be dying to get her home, but the sight of these nurses caring for her so tenderly, must touch their hearts.

The warmth of their hands, the calming effect of their song, and the fullness of their love soothe the tiny baby; Anya even lets out the sweetest little yawn.

Watch the beautiful video below and share.
