Cop Recovers Little Girl’s Stolen Dinosaur, Then Documents Their Epic Overnight Adventures.

A dad in La Plata, Maryland got the shock of his life when he recently surveyed some security footage and found a video of a woman walking into his front yard and stealing his daughter Evie’s favorite toys.

The toys– two dinosaurs– were under an apple tree when a complete stranger nonchalantly snatched them and walked away.

The dad, Jason Hendricks, posted a video of the dino-napping along with the status below.

Friends and neighbors commented on the video, expressing their surprise and anger. Then one friend commented, tagging Sgt. Robert Bagley of the La Plata Police. The moment Officer Bagley (AKA “Bobby”) saw the post, he was on the case!

Bobby soon posted a photo of a black dino saying he’d “recovered it,” then set off to find its brother.

Meanwhile, he took the one found dinosaur to the Emergency Room to recover from the trauma of getting stolen.

The dino accompanied Bobby on his mission, stopping only to get a quick workout in and “listen to some tunes.”
