Warwickshire mother of three Sian Pattison didn’t have the confidence to apply from Britain’s Got Talent. She hated the idea of singing in front of a national audience or being told she wasn’t very good.
Fortunately for her, her 10-year-old daughter had confidence in her.
Overcome with jitters, being stopped during her original track, ‘Ave Maria,’ by Simon Cowell, didn’t add to her inclination to sing. However, Cowell had stopped Pattinson, not to heckle her but to suggest a song that may better fit her voice.
Although she missed the start of the second song and had to start again, when she completed ‘With You,’ from the Ghost soundtrack, Pattinson brought viewers to tears and judges to their feet.
Later, Cowell conceded that ‘With You’ was one of his favorite pieces, and he loved Pattison’s performance because of its relaxed nature.
As a perfect ending to a once almost botched audition, Pattison’s daughter, 10, rushed onto stage to celebrate and congratulate the mom who’d made her proud.
Sian Pattison was able to leave the stage with 4 yes’s and a full heart. Share her incredible talent today!
