Even though we know not to judge someone based on their appearance, it’s natural to make a snap assumption about a person when they first step on a stage.
The audience at a taping of Ukrainian “X Factor” was blown away when 29-year-old Julia Ivanova showed up for her audition. With her flaming scarlet hair and leather-studded pantsuit, the young woman looked like a futuristic cross between Elvis Presley and Ariel from “The Little Mermaid.”

While some in the audience snickered at her ensemble, she quickly gave everyone in the crowd something else to talk about: her amazing talent!

Julia sang a cover of the famous Queen song “The Show Must Go On,” – and she totally nailed it. With vocals that were at times soft and other times loud and gritty, Julia certainly did Freddie Mercury proud!
Just a few moments into her performance, the crowd that had been giggling behind their hands were now standing up and clapping as hard as they could.
