Woman Introduces Spoiled Rescue Squirrel To Chick-Fil-A And Now They Go Every Day.

She may have gotten off to a rough start, but Sweet Pea is now officially living her best life!

Miki Farmer discovered the abandoned baby squirrel near her home and brought her to a rehab center. The vets noticed right away that she had no hair on her tail, which meant she likely wouldn’t survive on her own in the wild.

That’s when Miki decided to give Sweet Pea a new forever home! It wasn’t long before the two of them were inseparable. Now that they’ve been together for a year and a half, they spend just about every waking moment together!

“I know that I’m her caretaker, but I really consider myself her buddy,” Miki said.

Since Miki can’t bear to think of Sweet Pea spending her entire day in a cage, she brings the squirrel with her on all her errands. Sweet Pea loves to snuggle inside Miki’s clothes, play around in her hair, and help herself to whatever her mom happens to be eating.

A trip through a Chick-fil-A drive-through led Miki to discover that Sweet Pea absolutely adores unsweetened iced tea with lemon!

Of course, Miki couldn’t deny her this wonderful treat! Nowadays, Chick-fil-A runs are a normal part of their routine, and Sweet Pea could not be more precious when she spots that delicious tea. As soon as she sees the cup, she races over and pries the lid off all by herself!

“We go to Chick-fil-A in the morning, and it is the cutest thing,” Miki explained. “She has become just the greatest little addition to my life. What I want to do is just return that to her as much as I can.”

This is one lucky squirrel! Forget foraging for acorns and evading predators – this little gal is living in the lap of luxury thanks to her very caring mama! Yet for Miki, the pleasure of having Sweet Pea around is all hers.

“It has been such a great experience to have her with me and I’m so grateful for her,” she said. “I cannot imagine life without her.”

Honestly, we had no idea squirrels liked iced tea! These two are clearly the best of friends, and we’re so glad they have each other.
