If you take one thing away from this story, remember this – nothing in life has to be complicated to be fulfilling. In this case, a father, his son and a few bicycles were all it took for the best and most memory filled day ever.

Recently, Matt Hunter took his young son, Robbie, for an overnight camping trip on the outskirts of Kamloops, BC near where they live. They donned a couple of helmets, a few fishing poles and of course a pint sized bike for Robbie. Their meandering journey through the hills gave time for them to stop and explore along the way. It was a wonderful bonding experience for Matt and his young son.

“He’s always asking to go bike riding and camping and fishing,”says Matt, “So that’s what we did.â€

Robbie’s loved bike riding since he was just over a year old. Watching him tear down the trails having a good ol time with his dad was just the best.

“He’s been riding since he was 13 months old [he’s now two]. We took the seat off and built some custom padding so it was low enough. He started pushing around on it as soon as he could walk.â€

Check out the adorable father, son moments in the video below! I can’t wait to do this one day.
