New Stepmom Turns To Marine’s 4-Yr-Old Son, Reads Him Letter That Has Everyone In Tears.

4-year-old Gage Newville will never doubt how much he is loved.

Little Gage stood with his dad, US Marine Corps Sergeant Joshua Newville and his soon to be stepmom, Senior Airman Emily Leeann, on their wedding day. The young man was trying with all his might to hold back tears. The outpouring of emotion wasn’t your typical post-toddler tantrum, but an outpouring of pure joy.

Emily turned to Gage with a loving look and began reciting a set of vows she wrote especially for him. The moment she began to profess her promises, Gage, and everyone in the room, burst into tears. Gage buried his face in her dress and sobbed as realization hit home.

As his father looked on proudly, Gage gazed up at his soon-to-be stepmom while she said:

I want you to be safe and to try your hardest and to be a good person. I hope you learn that you are a very special boy.

You are so extremely smart, handsome and kind to others. You have helped make me into the woman that I am today. And I may not have given you the gift of life, but life surely gave me the gift of you.

Emily then scooped Gage up in her arms while they finished the rest of the ceremony.

Emily and Joshua are still on active military duty and won’t be taking a honeymoon for several months now, but it’s safe to say, the joy they felt on Saturday will be more than enough to sustain them. Check out the incredible moment in the video below!
