Adam Levine & Gwen Stefani Rush To Single Dad’s Side After Emotional Blind Audition.

Anything can happen during The Voice blind auditions. We’ve seen Adam Levine rush the stage to hug a contestant and all the judges fight over a single singer’s phenomenal voice, but the blind audition we’ve found for you today is just incredible.

Malik Davage grew up in a dangerous Washington, D.C. neighborhood. Determined to overcome his past, the 23-year-old single father has only one goal in mind. He wants to make a better life for his daughter.

While on stage, he opened up to the judges and explained his reasons for auditioning, “I’m just a young guy from Washington, D.C., who’s trying to do best for my daughter,” he said.

When Malik began to sing his soulful rendition of Migel’s ‘Sure Thing’ every one of the judges snapped to attention. After his awesome performance, Adam was (surprisingly) the only one to turn his chair, but Adam’s affirmation was enough to bring Malik to tears.

In a sweet gesture, Gwen offered Malik a hug, which to her delight he gladly accepted. After hugging it out and embracing Adam, Malik got to sit in the the Maroon 5 frontman’s chair as the rockstar gave him an honest review of his performance.

Malik’s daughter then came on stage with the soon-to-be superstar’s mother while everyone in the room cried happy tears.
