Boy With Cerebral Palsy Throws Down Walker At Marathon, Everyone Erupts In Applause

8-yr old Bailey Matthews crossed the finish line at a Triathalon in England to the sound of roaring applause.

They young athlete suffers from cerebral palsy  -a degenerative disease that makes everyday tasks difficult- but has more heart than most people I know.

Jordan Matthews, his father, adapted a walking frame so Matthew could participate in the thing he loves most, competition. Little did he know, his son was about to have the best day of his life.

Hundreds of spectators waited at the end of the course, and cheered Bailey on as he neared the finish line. In a triumphant moment, Matthew cast aside his walker and ran towrd the finish line unaided. It was truly an incredible feat of determination.
