Journalist Dives Into Bee Attack, Grabs Boy In Wheelchair To Save Him From Deadly Stings.

It was a moment you had to see to believe.

While standing outside the Kenyan Supreme Court, giving a story on an impending ruling, Kenyan journalist Victor Muyakane found himself as the subject of an unexpected attack. The interview he was giving was suddenly  invaded by a swarm of aggressive stinging bees, intent on driving everyone gathered there away.

High pressure situations like this tend to trigger an ‘every man for himself’ mentality. But instead of running out of harm’s way, Victor dashed into the fray to save someone else.

A young boy in a wheelchair happened to be rolling by when the bees decided to make their presence known. Victor wasn’t about to let the helpless youngster fend for himself.

In a superhuman like gesture, Victor scooped the young boy up from his wheelchair and rushed him from the site of the stings.

Victor was thankfully still able to move the boy from harm’s way, even though he was stung several times in the process.

If that wasn’t enough of a sacrifice, the reporter ended up having a severe reaction to the bees’ venom and was rushed to the emergency room, where he spent a few days recovering from the incident.

It’s a rare quality to put oneself in harm’s way for the benefit of another, but we’re glad to say that Victor is one of those amazing people. Let his selflessness inspire you today!
