In the last few years, good cops across the country have been the target of  slander and violence because of the actions of a few. For every tragedy a police officer is involved in, there are innumerable acts of kindness toward civilians.
Constable Jarrod Singh stumbled on the last thing he expected when he was called to the scene of a public disturbance the other night. “I saw eight people gathered around one person, so I can see how a member of the public thought it was a fight,” said Singh. “But when I got closer I could see he was break dancing in the middle and there was someone filming it.”
It was then that Singh decided to join in.Â

Singh had stumbled upon the University of Ontario Institute of Technology dance troupe filming a feature with Gary Matharu, co-owner of Vivid Media Company.

Matharu said the group was startled when two police cars showed up on scene, “They showed up on either side and we thought we were going to be kicked out, but then we got to talking,” he said.

Apparently, Singh isn’t new to dancing. Before he became an officer he was part of a dance troupe at Durham College. The old school dancer really showed his stuff!
