Gwen Stefani was performing onstage in West Palm Beach, Florida when she did something beautiful for a deserving fan. Wednesday night, as part of her This Is What Love Feels Like tour she spotted the fan’s mother holding aloft a sign in the crowd.

“‘My son was bullied from first to fifth grade. He would come home every day upset but he’d go into his room, listen to your music, and smile.'”

Stefani read the sign aloud and without hesitation she beckoned the boy onstage for what must have been the most incredible moment of his young life.

“Get up here right now! RIGHT NOW!” She insisted.

The young boy hopped on stage for a tearful hug with the pop singer in front of the thousands in the crowd. Later that night, Stefani took to Instagram to share how the fan was the “answer to [her] prayers.â€

About 3 years ago when things were hard in my life I prayed to God everyday that I could get a chance to use my gift that God gave me and make a difference in some way in this world – last night this little guy was the answer to my prayers ‪#‎zerotoleranceforbullies‬ ‪#‎onelove‬ ‪#‎thisiswhatthetruthfeelslike‬

But the pop star didn’t stop there. She invited the young man backstage for an impromptu photo op. Even if others continue to put him down, this awesome young dude will be able look back on this moment and remember how loved he is.
