Grieving Mom Texted Dead Son “I Love You,” But Gets Message Back That Stuns Her.

When Taylor Thyfault was still in high school, he wrote a list of his 25 goals in life… and as soon as he turned 18, he had already crossed off #1 on that list: “Join the Army and be the best I can be.” His mom and best friend, Carole Adler, described him as one of those people who could light up a room as soon as he walked in. After serving in the Army, Carole was so glad to have her baby boy back home.

Then he left to pursue his next dream: “Get a job.” The one he landed on? Colorado State Trooper. Taylor loved his work and was nearing the end of his cadet training when tragedy struck.

A fatal car accident resulting from a high-speed chase left the majority of Taylor’s list unmarked when he passed. Carole, completely devastated, sent a text message to his old phone number, expressing how much she missed and loved him.

That’s when something odd happened… she got a response! It turns out that Sgt. Kell Husley was given a new phone, but the number he received was Taylor’s old number. He had seen the messages all along and decided to respond.

Watch and share the incredible story about Taylor and how his mother found peace and protection through sending messages to his old number.
