Troopers Try To Keep Straight Face While Lip Syncing To ‘Grease’. Their Hilarious Karaoke Will Have You In Stitches.

4 state troopers on golf cart

“Summer Nights” from the classic movie musical Grease has been a karaoke night go-to for friends and couples around the world since the movie came out in 1978. With its catchy beat and lovably cheesy lyrics, the John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John recording was a massive hit, reaching number 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100; it was even more well-loved in the U.K. where the summer anthem spent 7 weeks at number 1!

But what happens when a group of Indiana State Police Troopers cover the 70’s hit at the Indiana State Fair in 2016? Pure magic! Troopers Brent Lemberg, Jonathan Amburgey, Jonathan Cole, and Dustin Rutledge were finishing up their patrolling duties on the last day of the state fair when they decided to record a little lip-sync video to the classic tune. Now, their goofy video has gone viral.

Their lip-syncing is on-point! They’ve perfectly timed it, and hearing Olivia Newton-John’s voice as Sandy coming out of one of these grown man is absolutely hilarious. And when the other troopers come in as the T-Birds and the Pink Ladies… well you just have to see for yourself!

Trooper Jonathan Amburgey of Fort Wayne uploaded the video to Vimeo where it immediately gained 20,000 views in a matter of hours.  “The state fair is a time that we have the opportunity to interact with the public in a way that we normally don’t get to. We wanted to show people that we aren’t robots. We have a personality, we like to laugh, and– most of all– we like to make other people laugh.”

They certainly did that! Check out these Trooper’s video below.

Share to spread some summer lovin’!
