Guests at an Ontario couple’s gender reveal party were pumped to learn the gender of the child, set to be born in May 2017. But they had no idea that the expecting parents, Brittany and Timothy, were keeping a far bigger secret than just the baby’s gender.
Like many others, the couple choose the popular method of opening a box filled with balloons– pink or blue– to announce the baby’s gender. When blue balloons filled the air, guests clapped and shared in the excited anticipation of a baby boy. But Brittany and Timothy weren’t through with surprises.

In the video below, Timothy takes a moment after the gender reveal to thanks his guests for coming. That’s when he makes a shocking announcement. Unzipping his hoodie, Timothy states, “ I think this is probably the best way to say it.â€
And the unique message on his T-shirt left their friends and family, in awe, laughing, and even crying.
