Brave 14-Yr-Old’s Touching Song To His Late Little Brother Has Judges In Tears.

Three months before 14-year-old Fletcher Pilon stepped on stage at Australia’s Got Talent, his world turned upside-down.

Fletcher’s little brother, Banjo, was only 10-years-old when his life was cut tragically short. The inseparable duo was spending an afternoon together skateboarding around town when a car came out of nowhere and struck Banjo, who later died from his injuries. Nobody took Banjo’s death harder than his big brother Fletcher.

To help make sense of the pain and his feelings, Fletcher wrote a song for his little brother called ‘Infinite Child’ which he played for the judges on ATG… before the first note escaped his lips every eye in the room had sprung a tear.

The emotional tribute sent the teen straight to the finals, and– several weeks later– Fletcher was named the winner of Australia’s Got Talent season eight.

We don’t always have answers when tragedy strikes… but how we honor our loved ones in the end is really what matters.
