According to recent studies, nearly half of kids in US elementary schools qualify for free or reduced cost lunch. This means that over 22 million students might have most, if not all of their meals at school. Many of these children have parents who struggle financially to feed their families, and the problem is only growing with time.
A man named Caleb noticed that food around his house began to disappear. After exhausting all other options, he confronted his young daughter Janey to try and solve the mystery. She had in fact been taking food from their house, but the heartbreaking reason made Caleb jump into action. Check out his Facebook post below.
