Dad Almost Dies, Then Sons Join Him On Britain’s Got Talent In Emotional Audition.

Family matters, and these guys are the perfect example.

The Neales are a British, four part harmony group made up of three brothers and their father. The patriarch, Laurie Neale, always dreamt of becoming a professional singer, but providing for his family always took priority.  Though his boys, James, Dan, and Phil are grown and have professional careers of their own, they decided to take a shot at Britain’s Got Talent with dear ol’ dad… and we’re so glad they did.

A hard set of circumstances helped the boys realize they needed to give dad the chance to perform. The year before their audition, Laurie suffered a heart attack that nearly killed him. It was a wakeup call for all of the Neales’ to chase their dreams and cherish every second with family.

Their first ever public performance went down on BGT in 2015. The troupe stepped on stage and stole everyone’s hearts from the moment it became clear they were a family band. Then they began to sing.

The quintet delivered tight harmonies in a classic style that filled the room nostalgia as judges and audience alike listened with tears in their eyes and smiles on their faces.

After a standing ovation and riotous applause calmed, the judges had a lot to say. Each one was impressed by their talent, but even more so by their obvious bond and love for one another.

The Neales’ went on to the finals of BGT and released a single the next year called ‘I’ll Be There’ that knocked Adel off the Official UK Independent Single’s Chart. There’s just something about these guys that warms the heart.
