Teen Confronts Child Predator Stalking Little Girl At Target.

Cameron Cook was at Target with his mom when he saw a little girl alone with a strange man standing just a little too close to her.

Cameron’s mom, Heather, was preoccupied with shopping and at first tried to pull Cameron along, but at the 17-year-old’s insistence she stopped to assess the situation… something was definitely wrong.

“I seen the guy grabbing himself, and my mom goes, ‘Cam let’s go, keep walking,’ I was like, no, something’s going on.”

And Heather admitted, “I was close enough that I could smell the liquor coming from his mouth. It was horrible.”

Cameron fearlessly approached the large man and began loudly asking him what he was doing.

“So I went up to him, I was like, ‘Excuse me sir, do you know her?’ And then the first thing he said was, ‘I’m not a pervert, I’m not a pervert.’ I was like, I didn’t ask you that sir,”said Cameron.

Cameron continued to berate the man until he ran out of the store. It’s likely the teenager saved the little girl from an unthinkable fate. “He was big, and Cameron had no fear at all,”said his mother. “He just stood firm on the fact that he knew what this man was doing was wrong.â€

“I’m just happy I was there to protect her,”said Cameron. “Because you never know what could have went on.”

But he wants no praise for his actions, only to inspire others to step in when they feel that something is not right.

He told the Boston Herald, “Anybody should just have the courage to stand up. It’s not even about courage, it’s just being a person, a human – anyone can step up and do something like that.â€
