Every year, thousands of animals are abandoned by their owners. Whether surrendered directly to a shelter or left on the streets, a staggering number of dogs, cats and other animals will eventually be put down.

One small Dallas area rescue decided to step up for these animals that can’t speak for themselves. As of today, Dallas Pets Alive has pulled 751 animals into their care to be fostered and eventually adopted by their forever family. They hope to rescue many more, but they need our help to do it.
