Therdchai Jivacate of the Friends of the Asian Elephant Foundation–the world’s first elephant hospital– was the first to create a prosthetic leg for an injured Asian elephant named Mosha. The Thai hospital is the first of its kind, giving shelter, food and rehabilitation to these majestic creatures.
