Carrie Underwood & Brad Paisley’s Nostalgic ‘I Will Always Love You’ & ‘Take Me Home Country Roads’ Mashup Is Pure Magic.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are perhaps the biggest names in country music. Both superstars have made a name for themselves as songwriters and performers, but recently teamed up to pay tribute to two great country songs of times gone by. They decided to take Dolly Parton’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ and John Denver’s ‘Take Me Home’ and fuse them into one incredible tune.

Standing back to back, the duo alternated between singing Denver and Parton’s hits while Paisley played guitar and Underwood belted out her pristine vocals. The 60 second song was made as a promotional piece for the upcoming Country Music Awards, but as far as we’re concerned it could stand on its own.

The coolest part of this video? The two classic songs seem to match up perfectly. Both have been covered dozens of times by other artists over the years, but there’s something about two modern country legends paying tribute to the country glory days that takes you right back in time.

Interesting side note, Paisley is actually from West Virginia and Underwood loves ‘I Will Always Love You’ so much she generally plays it at her shows while on the road. Check out the incredilbe snippet in the video below!
