If you’ve ever watched Ellen, you know the lovable host adores nothing more than showcasing brilliant-beyond-their-years children. We’ve told you before about this 5-year-old geography genius and this 3-year-old chemistry whiz, but now Ellen has found an entire TV Show of kids like these: “Child Genius.”
In the video below, Ellen raves about her love of the show before asking her producer– Andy– if he’s ever watched it.
Any regular Ellen fans should instantly have a light bulb go on at the name “Andy.” If Ellen asks him a question, you know something funny is coming!
She’s previously made a fool of Andy by sending him to a haunted house and by forcing him to dance with the Rockettes. This time, she’s created a game show where for Andy to face off against Ryan, a 12-year-old genius from the show “Child Genius.”

The questions cover everything from addition to exponents to spelling to Chinese vocab! She also throws in a question about pie and the Kardashians for Andy’s benefit… but Ryan still absolutely dominates!

But– as much as this game is about teasing Andy (which Ellen loves to do)– it’s also about showcasing this incredible kid. He truly does deserve the title of kid genius!
