College Volunteers Transform Into Disney Princesses, Children With Cancer Light Up After Their Sweet Routine.
We’ve shared some heartwarming stories with you before about people going out of their way for hospitalized children. There was the fraternity house that spelled out a little girl’s name on their roof to show their support; then there was the amazing nonprofit that created unique hospital robes to showcase the individual personalities of young patients. The nonprofit featured in the video below perfectly combines elements from both of those tear-jerking stories! Once again, we’re telling you about college students who are showing love and compassion for sick children, and it involves some non-traditional outfits in a hospital…
The nonprofit is A Moment of Magic Foundation. A nonprofit with a mission of “restoring the magic of believing, at a time when a child needs ‘just to be a kid’ and reminding them to be brave, strong, and fearless.”
In the video below, volunteers for A Moment of Magic dress as Elsa and Anna from Disney’s Frozen and visit children with cancer. The video is quickly going viral!
In response to the attention that A Moment of Magic is getting, co-founder Kylee Lauren (the young woman playing Elsa in the video below) wrote this emotional post:
The kids that I meet mean the world to me. I am so grateful to be welcomed into their world, whether I only get to meet them once for a couple of too short moments or I get to follow their stories of their last day of chemo, first day of first grade, or anther milestone birthday. I can confidently say that I was put on this earth to do this, to reach out to as many people as possible, and try to create a moment of magic for the children that deserve the entire world.”
Check out the video of these princesses below, and share!
