You may have heard about Oksana Chusovitina, the gymnast who is making history in Rio as the oldest Olympic gymnast in history at age 41. Chusovitina has been to the every Olympic games since 1992 and has competed for three different countries (currently Uzbekistan, previously the Soviet Union and Germany).
She’s the only female gymnast to ever compete in seven Olympic games. Pretty cool, right?
But did you know there are 25 other Olympians competing in Rio who are also over the age of 40?
